The tongue surgery was funky to recover from. Scar tissue still runs through the middle of the tongue and it feels really weird. The good news is that "item" was benign. Bad news is it can grow back. Yay. But, on to happier news.
Michael is moved into the house! There's some adjustment as we get used to each other, but things are simply wonderful :) He fits into our crazy family beautifully.
The wedding is in 2 weeks! We're going to Gatlinburg, TN. It's going to be cool - our kids, our parents, and good friends will be there. It's going to be lovely :)
The most entertaining part is watching the 3 cats settle in - his 2 older cats and my young tiger. He devils the heck out of them. We watched one day as he repeatedly poked one of the other cats as if to say "does this bug ya? huh? does it? huh? does it?" Cracked us up.
So that's what we've been up to, how are YOU doing?

Wishing you all the best on your wedding day!! And of course a lifetime of happiness :) Since Gatlinburg is right in my backyard I'll go ahead and warn ya, it's miserably hot already so bring your sunscreen! lol And treat yourselves to a fantastic dinner at the Alamo Steakhouse while you're in town!
